It's nice and quiet place. The rooms are simple and small. They're pretty modern. The fourth floor deck is open and relaxing. Our key was deactivated the next day but that was quickly resolved. Surrounded by restaurants, stores, and car dealerships. 10-15 minute drive to the pier.
Great room for a good price. $50 for an early check in fee. Staff were very nice and helpful. Clean and sanitized
My favorite hotel in the Venice/Santa Monica area. Great customer service, nice rooms, firm bed, good tall hot shower. Be sure to get a balcony room, they are the best!
I had a VERY BAD customer experience this weekend since I've arrived in Los Angeles. I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL. Very bad customer services and they gave my room that I reserved and was PAID 1 month before to another people. Crazy, so so so crazy.
Was there in October 1997 for a summer vacation trip to LA. After a 'best of the west' tour I stayed in Santa Monica for 4 more days to rest before flying back to Amsterdam. Although the hotel was too far from the beach to walk, we still had the rental car which made it fine. Really great spot! Two things that I recall; the roof-top jacuzzi - probably long gone now due to hygiene concerns; and the great party wear shops further up the boulevard.
